Aligarh BSP leader booked for organising dance session on son’s wedding eve

AGRA: Aligarh police on Wednesday booked a local BSP leader Mohammad Jahid and 20 others for violating lockdown rules by organising a dance session on the eve of his son’s wedding.
The case was registered after a video of the event went viral on social media. In the video, the guests can be seen without masks and not maintaining social distancing norms.
According to police, Jahid, who has contested the councillor elections and 20 unidentified persons were booked under section 188, 269, 271 of IPC and section 3 in the Epidemic Diseases Act, 1897 at Sasni gate police station.
