The UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention on Tuesday announced 779 new cases of the COVID-19, taking the total number of cases to 31,086. 325 new recoveries were also announced taking the total number of recovered patients to 15,982.

The UAE Health authorities also announced the demise of five people because of the disease, bringing the total number of deaths to 253. The total number of active cases in the Gulf nation now stands at 14,851.
