A vlogger who prides herself on teaching people how to date billionaires has exposed the biggest misconceptions about elegant women - and how to make sure you don't fall into those stereotypes.

London-based Anna Bey, 34, who goes by the moniker 'JetSetBabe' online, revealed the outdated stereotypes that she believes no longer fit elegant women in her latest YouTube clip.

Speaking in her vlog entry on her 'School of Affluence' site, Swedish-born Anna, whose sometimes controversial approach has landed her a wealthy banker boyfriend, said classy women didn't need to be picture perfect 24/7.

Explaining that ladies don't have to opt for dated clothing, she recommended 'injecting personality' into classic outfits, as well as realising that expense didn't equal class.

Elegant ladies DON'T have to dress old-fashioned

Anna says: 'People tend to connect elegance to old fashioned. They think that if you dress elegantly, you're immediately dressing old fashioned.

'Ladies, that is so far from the truth. The truth is, you actually have many style personalities in fashion. There isn't one way of dressing elegantly.

'You can dress elegantly in many different ways, you can have your unique style, you can express your personality, your fashion, you don't have to dress conservatively and classical elegance which is usually what people think about when they refer to an elegant wardrobe.'

DON'T suffocate your personality

The matchmaker explains: 'Another misconception of elegant ladies is that people tend to think that you have to have a very particular elegant personality if you're going to qualify as an elegant lady, meaning you might have to appear a little bit stiff, a little bit snobbish maybe or boring.

'But I want to bust that myth once and for all as we live in a modern society. Women have evolved, society has evolved. Women are allowed to have a personality today.

'Big personalities, to be flamboyant and outspoken and to have humour and all those great things - we should use that.

'Don't suffocate your personality, instead get rid of the things in your personality that are not serving you,' she says.

'When you are truly your best self, that's when you have a magnetic presence and that's what's going to bring you success on this journey.'

Elegant ladies DON'T have to be perfect

'A lot of people think that if you are going to be an elegant lady, that you have to act with picture perfect elegance skills 24/7 and god forbid if you do anything wrong than you're a tacky woman and shame on you,' Anna says.

'I want you to understand that it's not good or healthy to be obsessed - to think that to be an elegant woman you have to be picture perfect. Perfection does not exist.

'And humans are not perfect, and are not supposed to be robots either. Instead, learn certain rules and protocols of society that will benefit you, so you can adapt.'

She continues: 'But does that mean you can never let your hair down? No!'

Elegance is a mindset - you DON'T need a big budget

'Elegance is a mindset,' insists the matchmaker. 'Elegance is a way of living. You want to elevate yourself and elegance helps you achieve that.

'One of the things a lot of women are still so unsure of is: can I become an elegant woman even if I don't have a lot of money?

'People may think their parents are embarrassing, they weren't born into a wealthy family or an elegant family, the people they spend time with are not elegant whatsoever, my surroundings are not elegant and things like that.

'But you have to understand that elegance is not tied to economy, background, race, who you are, where you live or what you look like.

'None of that matters because everybody can achieve elegance in their everyday life because all it takes is to adjust small things that elevate you - that make you feel empowered and make you feel good about yourself.

'I think those are the qualities to achieve elegance and anybody can do that regardless of budget.'

Elegant women are not asexual

Anna says: 'A common misconception is that elegant women are like the Virgin Mary, they're very asexual, they've probably never even had sex, god forbid if they've ever kissed a boy.

'But I do talk about femininity... and that's how an elegant woman actually transmits her sexual energy.'

However, the vlogger then controversially goes on to say: 'Ladies cover yourself up in certain places because that is going to help you to achieve your goals and create a better life for yourself rather than undress for the public.

'I think sex is one of those things that it's nice to keep private. There are tasteful ways to bring out the sexual energy in both men and women.

'Women, instead of putting everything on display and going towards that vulgarity, it's nicer to add that feminine touch - a little taste that there's something more hiding behind that facade.

'It's nice to give a little tease, it's nice to give a little flavour - but it's not really nice to give the whole buffet whether you are a man or a woman.

'But should you be a Virgin Mary or a little miss proper? No, of course not. Connect with your own sexual energy as a woman, and I think the easiest way to do so is through femininity.'
