Kalyan-Dombivli report 57 new Covid-19 cases, 3 deaths

KALYAN: Three Covid-19 patients died in the past 24 hours while 57 new cases were reported from Kalyan-Dombivli region, taking total numbers of patients to 882 including, 26 death so far. All three patients who died were women.
The three deceased include, a 57-year-old woman from Govindwadi area in Kalyan, a 75-year-old woman from RTO area and another 73-year-old woman from Joshibaug
The health department officials said that in the past 24 hours, six patients were discharged from different hospitals. So far, 286 Covid-19 patients have been discharged. Presently, of the total 882 patients, 570 active patients are being treated at different hospitals.
Meanwhile on Wednesday, the KDMC had remained closed its headquarters to sanitise the entire building after a doctor from the health department tested positive for the infection on Tuesday.
