Collectors Keep an Eye on Corona Control in Dense Settlement of District

Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that despite the success being achieved in the efforts to control the Corona in the state, there is a need to persevere. Collectors should keep an eye on slums of district and conduct random tests and keep the fever clinics working effectively in the settlement of the district. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that immediately after taking positive cases in any area of ​​the district, all necessary steps should be taken immediately by estimating the situation of the coming days. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was reviewing the Corona control and treatment efforts in the state today. It was informed in the meeting that the recovery rate of those recovering from Corona infection in the state is 51.3 percent. It is continuously growing, which is a good sign. The highest recovery rate in the state is 63 percent in Bhopal. Testing, treatment, quarantine arrangement of Covid-19 is being done better in Bhopal. Keeping this condition, continuous attention is being paid to the containment areas. Chief Secretary Shri Iqbal Singh Bains and other officials were present in the video conference and the meeting.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that it is necessary to make supply system of essential commodities effective. Operation of testing and tracing work should be done continuously. The areas which are lockable should have control over the activities and the team of officers should remain active. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan obtained information from Bhopal Commissioner, Collector, I.G. and DIG.

51.3 percent recovery rate in state, maximum 63 percent in Bhopal

Additional Chief Secretary, Public Health and Family Welfare Shri Mohammad Suleman informed that till May 24, 6 thousand 665 Corona cases have come up in the state, out of which 2967 are active cases. There are 3408 recovery cases among them. The recovery rate of the state is 51.3 percent. In Bhopal this percentage is 63. The order of doubling in the state is now coming on the 20th day, which is better than other states. Despite 294 positive cases on May 24, 141 cases have been recovered due to improvement in recovery rate. In 25 such districts in the state where more than 10 cases have been found, 41 thousand 640 people have been quarantined in their homes and 2 thousand 109 have been institutionally quarantined. A total of 13 lakh 32 thousand 945 people reside in 802 containment areas of these districts. No positive cases have been reported in the last 21 days in some districts of the state like Harda, Chhindwara and Alirajpur. The first positive case has come to light in Narsinghpur. No case has been found in Katni district. Survey teams are active in the districts where active cases are being seen and necessary measures are also being implemented by various departments. 12 out of 13 in Agar-Malwa, 3 out of 3 in Anuppur, 4 out of 5 in Chhindwara, 3 out of 3 cases in Harda have been recovered. Additional Chief Secretary informed that apart from Indore, Bhopal and Ujjain, a total of 1415 patients were admitted in the state. There is a system of isolating more than 21 thousand patients in the districts. However, only 13 percent of it is required to be used. Similarly, compared to the arrangement made for ICUs, the requirement is 14 percent of the total use. Indore has 1314 i.e. 40 percent utilization as against the total 3309 bed capacity. Similarly, 36 percent of the arrangement made for ICUs is used. Ujjain has 16 percent utilization of the total 1460 bed capacity.

Fever Clinic

There are 1481 fever clinics in the state. So far, a total of 34 thousand 753 patients have come in Flu OPD and a total of 7622 samples have been collected in Flu OPD. Of these, 3217 cases were referred. Due to increasing public awareness, instead of hiding information about the disease, the focus is on testing and treatment. Social distancing is being followed in the state.

Bhopal towards becoming ideal in Corona control

It was informed in the meeting that multidisciplinary efforts have been made for disease control in Bhopal. This has led to success in disease control. Under the ICU arrangement in Bhopal district, facility was provided to 28 patients as against 156. A total of 492 patients are admitted in AIIMS, GMC, Chirayu Medical College and Covid Care Center in Bhopal. Currently 3 patients are on ventilator. In Bhopal district, 464 people were enrolled against the provision of 1030 people for Isolation. Commissioner Bhopal said that the condition of Corona control is also improving in the division, but all are active at the level of vigilance.

Getting full public cooperation, voluntary organizations are also active

Collector Bhopal informed through video conference that the local citizens got full support even after Ramadan in Jahangirabad area. Assistance has been given in the treatment of the patient on receipt of positive patient information and in the quarantine of those who are in the first contact of the positive patient. Due to the dense settlements in areas like Ashoka Garden, Bagh Umrao Dulha in the city, there were definitely cases, but now the situation is being controlled. Collector Bhopal informed that 788 recoveries have been done in 1241 cases. The patients are more in the age group of 20 to 60 years. The number of patients over 60 years of age is less in patients. Families are being consulted on counseling senior citizens to stay in homes. Bhopal district administration has also used information technology for continuous review of the condition of the disease. There are 59 fever clinics are being operated in Bhopal. 173 containment areas were created in 32 police station areas. Sampling work has been done continuously. Attention has also been taken on vegetable seller not to become a carrier in particular. Seva Bharti, Jan Abhiyan Parishad and voluntary organizations of gas affected areas are functioning.

Wheat will be purchased from farmers who have not sold wheat

Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the work of procuring wheat from the farmers of the state is towards accomplishment. So far, 113 lakh 47 thousand metric tonnes of wheat has been purchased from 14 lakh 82 thousand farmers. Arrangements of sending SMS to buy farmers wheat will also continue as needed. Procurement is almost complete in most districts. Apart from this, arrangements will be made to buy wheat from those farmers of the remaining districts who have not sold wheat. On 23 May, 2 lakh 63 thousand metric tonnes of wheat were procured from 20 thousand 643 farmers in the state on 23 May.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan today got the latest information about wheat procurement in the state through video conferencing. Principal Secretary Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Shri Sheo Shekhar Shukla informed that 94.78 lakh metric tonnes of wheat procured from farmers have been safely transported to warehouses till May 24. This is 84 percent of the total wheat procured. Shri Shukla informed that it is estimated that 124 lakh metric tonnes of wheat is procured in the state. 119 lakh metric ton capacity is available in warehouses for storage. Apart from this, 8 lakh metric tonnes of silo is available. An amount of 13 thousand 127 crore has been deposited in the accounts of about 11 lakh farmers. It is worth mentioning that till May 26, the date of procurement was set. In more than half the districts, the procurement work is almost complete.

In the video conference, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan also obtained information regarding the adherence to the tare system and social distancing in procurement work. Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains was present in the meeting.
