Hence 17 out of 26 Kovid-19 were vulnerable to infection by March 3. Nine of these 17 showed signs of the virus, while eight showed no symptoms. The ICMR said that this could be due to the closed environment during the visit, excess of the index case, and frequent exposure. The study stated that cases other than the index case were symptom-free at the time of investigation and about half of the cases were symptom-free during the entire illness.
