Novak Djokovic says he was fortunate to be able to train "almost every day" during the lockdown in Spain, but he didn't share videos on social media as he didn't want to irk his competitors.
The world No 1 spent the past two months in Marbella as he was visiting his brother Marko on the Spanish resort when the country shut down due to the coronavirus outbreak.
Practising at tennis clubs was banned in Spain during the lockdown period, meaning most players were unable to hit any balls in anger.
However, Djokovic was able to get some training in as the place where he stayed had a private tennis court and he feels he is in good shape for the upcoming Adria Tour.
"Unlike many other players, I was able to train almost every day because we resided in a house with a tennis court,” the 17-time Grand Slam winner said after returning home to Belgrade.
"I refrained from posting clips on social networks because I didn't want to infuriate other players. I am fit and in good shape, so I am looking forward to the Adria Tour, which I am organising."
The newly launched tournament will take place in the Balkan region and is due to start on 13 June with the final leg set for 5 July.
It remains unclear if spectators will be allowed to attend due to restrictions in Serbia.
"We would dearly love for fans to be able to attend, but that's still not certain because we have to abide by the Serbian government’s coronavirus regulations," he said.
