An FIR has been lodged against Alka Lamba, who quit the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) to join the Congress, for making indecent remarks against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath. This FIR has been lodged at Hazratganj police station in Lucknow on Alka Lamba on behalf of Preeti Verma, a member of Uttar Pradesh State Child Rights Protection Commission.
Alka Lamba had said that PM Modi and CM Yogi played Muslim and Dalit cards due to political gains, citing the Unnao rape case involving former MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar, calling the 'Beti Bachao' campaign a flop show, He alleged that the government had failed to protect India's daughters and bring justice to the victims.
Lamba further wrote on Twitter that the video she has shared is 2 years old, which has been watched by nearly one crore people so far. She said that when blind devotees could not find anything against me, they searched this old video for the FIR.
