Manmohan Singh was the former Prime Minister of India and presently Narendra Modi is the Prime Minister of India. He served as the country's PM from 2004 to 2013. At the same time, PM Modi is the PM of the country since 2014. Both of them have performed their responsibilities well during this period. But today we are going to talk about what is the way of working both and under whose leadership there is more development in the country.

1. GDP growth rate

Our first point is GDP growth. The BJP government has taken several steps like the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, GST and many structural reforms. India's GDP growth averaged 6.7% from 2009 to 2014. At the same time, India's GDP grew at a rate of 7.5 percent during 2014 to 2019. Hence the difference is clear that under the leadership of PM Modi, GDP growth is better.

2. Destruction of terrorists

According to the South Asia Terrorism Portal, 4241 militants were killed during a 10-year term from 2004 to 2013. At the same time, according to the Modi government's tenure from 1 May 2014 to 17 June 2018, more than 1000 terrorists have been killed, this does not include the figures of 2019 and 20.

3. Airlines

In the previous government, the growth of passengers in the airline was at the rate of 9.20% per annum, while in the present government it was increasing at the rate of 15.28%. Therefore the difference is clear that the BJP government has also won in this.

4. Foreign Policy

PM Modi has an important contribution in foreign policy. Earlier India's relations were not so much better than other countries but now India has very good relations with many countries. Looking at their examples, Israel and Palestine have good relations with India. India also has improved relations with countries like America, Japan etc.

5. Variable Schemes

During his tenure, the Congress government introduced a number of best schemes including MNREGA (though under UPA 1), Food Security Act, Direct Benefit Scheme, Right to Education and Right to Information.

From 2014 to 2019, Narendra Modi's government has included Jan Dhan Yojana, Ayushman Bharat, Swachh Bharat Mission, Ujjwala Yojana and Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana. People are still getting their benefits.
