Border stand-off escalates as China provokes and India warns; High-level meet underway at PMO

Amid continuing tensions with China along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Eastern Ladakh, a top-level security meet is underway at the Prime Minister’s Office here on Tuesday evening. Apart from National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, Chief of Defence Staff General Bipin Rawat and the three service chiefs are present at the high-level meeting being chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
