Sanitiser dispensers from Sahyadri stables set for Bengaluru market

MANGALURU: Sahyadri group has manufactured two types of contactless hand sanitizer dispensers – namely foot press and sensor-based dispenser. Department of mechanical engineering under the supervision of Ravichandra KR, head of department of mechanical engineering, Sahyadri College of Engineering and Management has manufactured the foot press dispenser.
Research Design Labs at Sahyadri campus under the guidance of Raghavendra Shetty, CEO, RDL Technologies has manufactured sensor-based dispensers. Both dispensers can be used by public and private sector industries in their fight against Covid-19. Students of Sahyadri have actively participated in design and implementation of these products. The foot press dispense has capacity of 2 litres and sensor-based capacity of 12 litres.
Both these sanitiser dispenser models are set to reach Bengaluru. Even though the college and the company are facing lot of issues with raw materials, their highest priority is customers. The college is also pressing ahead for the release of "No Touch IoT" based sanitizer dispensers.
