Akshay Kumar shares a heartfelt message as legendary hockey player Balbir Singh passes away

In an unfortunate turn of events, legendary hockey player and three-time Olympic gold medalist Balbir Singh passed away on May 25 after he suffered third cardiac arrest. Balbir Singh had suffered the first attack on May 12 following which he suffered two more while he was getting treated at a hospital. Now, Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar has taken to his Twitter handle to express grief and pay condolences to the family. Sharing a beautiful picture of him with the player, Akshay wrote, 'Saddened to hear about the demise of hockey legend #BalbirSingh ji. Have had the good fortune of meeting him in the past, such an amazing personality! My heartfelt condolences to his family'.
