In the past 24 hours, three Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel have tested positive for the novel coronavirus infection, taking the Delhi count for the paramilitary force to 39. One of these three personnel was on duty at the Delhi airport, while the other two were deployed with Delhi Metro.
Over 500 new cases; biggest single-day death toll at 30
A 48-year-old nurse working at a private hospital in west Delhi became the latest casualty of Covid-19 in the capital. She was undergoing treatment at Safdarjung Hospital. In total, Delhi has recorded 261 Covid-19 deaths. This includes 30 deaths — the highest casualty reported in a single day — confirmed by the state government authorities on Sunday.
