Mysuru: Forest department personnel reunited three leopard cubs with their mother on Saturday. The cubs were born about four to five days ago, and were found on the sugarcane field of farmer Honnappa in Kodanahalli on May 17. The villagers had put the cubs in a tray and informed the forest department of the same.
Range forest officer M K Devaraju and deputy range forest officer Malegowda, left the cubs at the spot they were found, and kept an eye on them, by hiding at a distance, at 6.30pm on Saturday. Around 9.30 pm, the leopard took back her cubs, and her pug marks were found at the spot along with that of her cubs, confirmed the forest department.
