Spurt in Covid-19 positive cases in Puducherry

PUDUCHERRY: The Union territory of Puducherry is in a precarious position following a sudden spurt in the number of Covid-19 positive cases in the last 10 days.
Puducherry had just three active positive cases on May 10. However, by May 23, the number of active cases in Puducherry rose to 27, including two from Tamil Nadu. The healthcare authorities attributed the spurt in Covid cases in Puducherry to the increase in the influx of people from other states and countries returning to the region.
