PANCHKULA: The local administration is set to open marriage and banquet halls, barbers and salons in the district with a list of advisories. Liquor will not be allowed to be served during functions. Markets can also open seven days a week.
Barber shops, salons and beauty parlours can resume their services, according to the order from the additional chief secretary to the deputy commissioner (DC) and the municipal commissioner. They, the order said, must provide services with safety precautions, disinfection, and sanitisation after each service.
Similarly, marriage/banquet halls can be opened with a maximum number of 50 guests at a time. They have to obtain permission for organising functions on their premises from the DC. Name, address and mobile number of all guests needed to be submitted to the officer while taking permission so that they can be traced later. Liquor, pan, gutkha and tobacco will not be allowed at the functions. Guests will not be allowed to enter if they do not have Aarogya Setu mobile application in their mobile phones.
