A furloughed footballer “bored” at home during lockdown has started a new job delivering takeaways.

Shaun Pearson, captain of Wrexham FC who hasn’t been able to play since the country was put on lockdown has taken up a job at the Fat Boar in Wrexham.

Police called in coastguards to patrol popular tourist spots after a number of vehicles were parked up over the weekend.

Flint Coastguard shared an image of a “large amount of vehicles” accessing sites which had been closed off for emergency access only.

Anglesey announces plan to reopen recycling centre - here's how it will work

Anglesey will reopen one of its recycling centres next month.

The Penhesgyn centre near Menai Bridge will open for pre-bookings only from June 2, having been shut since lockdown measures were first implemented in mid March.

Police called to 'man with machete' in Amlwch street

Police were called to an Anglesey town where a man reportedly had a machete in the street.

Officers from Anglesey tweeted to say they had been called to a “public order incident” on Mona Street in Amlwch today.

Police left speechless as covidiot campers keep coming - including this group up a mountain

Police were left speechless when they found three men camping in a tent up a North Wales mountain.

Officers discovered the tent and said the men were reported for breaching the coronavirus lockdown.
