The movement of aircraft is being started in many parts of the country from Monday to 25 May. Two months after the lockdown, special preparations are being made at the airport to take off of domestic flights. The Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI) of the national capital, Delhi, has made concrete arrangements to promote healthy and safe air travel. According to DIAL, several arrangements have been made, including automatic hand sanitizer machines, floor markers for passengers at places like entry gate and check-in at the airport. Delhi Airport will operate around 380 flights from Monday. About 190 aircraft will depart from Delhi Airport and about 190 aircraft will land here.

The Union Health Ministry has released a new guideline for travelers before the journey. Passengers must strictly follow all these things during the journey. No passenger will be able to travel without following these guidelines.

Guidelines for Air Travelers

- Only such passengers will be allowed to board the flight, which does not show any symptoms of the coronavirus.

- Travelers who have mild symptoms of Kovid-19 will be given the option of being isolated at a Kovid Care Center or home, along with testing according to the ICMR protocol.

- All passengers must apply face masks

- After landing from whatever vehicle you have come to the airport, you have to sanitize yourself and the necessary documents should be nearby.

- The thermal screening will be done at the entry point of the airport. Only then will you decide if you can go or not

- You can also check for yourself from the Arogya Setu App and show the status of the Arogya Setu App at the entry gate.

- If you have not been able to download the Arogya Setu App, then you can download it from the Kovid Help Desk at the station itself.


- Passengers have to show their ticket, boarding pass, identity card to CISF at the entrance itself.

While checking in, drop your luggage on the counter, and show your PNR status to the staff there, take as little of the goods as possible.

- eReceipt will be found on your mobile

- Passengers must follow social distancing, keep in mind the circle and barrier at the airport.

- You have to check in one hour before the time of your flight.

- The station will be continuously sanitized to protect the health of the people.

- Passengers in which no symptoms are found, they will be allowed to go with the advice that they will keep an eye on their health for 14 days. If any symptoms are seen in them, they will inform the District Monitoring Officer or the State / National Call Center (1075).
