India's High Commissioner sends Eid greetings to TT

INDIA's High Commissioner to TT Arun Kumar Sahu has extended greetings to the Muslim community for Eid-Ul-Fitr.

In a statement, Sahu said Eid was an auspicious festival celebrated by Muslims all over the world.

"It marks the end of the Islamic holy month of Ramadan. This is the occasion of the revelation of the Holy Quran.

"As we traverse through the difficult times of fighting covid19, it is also an opportunity to promote goodwill, universal brotherhood and happiness.

"On this occasion, I wish all Trinbagonians, especially our Muslim brothers and sisters, good health and prosperity," he said in his message.
