Queensland has recorded no new cases of COVID-19 for the second day in a row.
Only 12 of the state’s 1058 confirmed cases remain active, with almost 170,000 tests conducted.
The latest case recorded in the state, a woman in her 70s confirmed to have the virus on Wednesday, is believed to have contracted the disease during a trip to India.
However, contact tracers were still working to confirm the details as of yesterday.
