Sarah Jane Dias joins the battle against domestic violence

Model, VJ, and actress Sarah Jane Diaz has created a name for herself in the Hindi entertainment industry. Sarah has also made it big in beauty pageants world by bringing home the Femina Miss India World crown in 2007. Recently, during this ongoing situation, Sarah supports ‘LockDown mein LockUp’, urge fans to donate.

Dias becomes the voice of victims of domestic abuse, urges fans to take a stand against it. Former beauty queen has raised her voice in support of the 'LockDown Mein LockUp' initiative to help women facing domestic violence by sharing a picture of hers along with the words ‘I am Fatima’ written on it.

With multiple cases of domestic violence on the rise amidst lock down, actress Sarah took this matter to her official Instagram handle, by sharing a black and white photo of herself with the words that read, “I am her voice today and the voices of the many victims of domestic abuse that are going unheard as they are locked up with their abusers during this lock down. The rising number of cases has put tremendous pressure on the resources of SNEHA, an NGO that has been fighting domestic violence for the past 20 years. They need to raise funds to raise resources to tackle domestic violence.

Sarah Jane Dias was one of many others who joined this battle against domestic violence. Several Bollywood celebrities and beauty queens including, Karisma Kapoor, Karan Johar, Dia Mirza, Anushka Sharma, Bipasha Basu, Swara Bhasker, Adline Castelino among many others have expressed similar concern over the increase in domestic violence cases in the country.
