When Nawazuddin Siddiqui initially stepped into Bollywood with no Godfathers or industry connection, he used to do mostly small roles which failed to shed the spotlight on his acting prowess. But as time passed and filmmakers started seeing his brilliance and the finesse with which he essayed varied roles in films like ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’, ‘Badlapur’, ‘Raman Raghav 2.0’, ‘Haraamkhor’ and ‘Manto’, among others, he gradually became one of the most sought after actors in the industry making his way up to the top. His initial struggles even compelled him to work as a watchman. But as the saying goes, ‘Hard work always pays off’, so did his.
