Coronavirus in India updates: India has recorded its biggest spike of over 6,000 cases in a single day, taking its total coronavirus count to 118,501. As many as 3,585 people have died from the disease, according to Worldometer data. The Reserve Bank of India today cut key policy rates on Friday and governor Shaktikanta Das said that India's GDP growth in 2020-2021 would be in negative territory doe to the adverse impact on coronavirus lockdown. Meanwhile, Tamil Nadu has asked Centre to defer flight resumption order with corona cases maintaining the upward trend.
Coronavirus world update: Globally, 5,197,863 people have been infected by coronavirus so far, and the total number of deaths from the disease now stands at 334,680, according to Worldometer.
