Bodies of woman, daughter found in lake

Palanpur: Bodies of a 30-year-old woman and her two-year-old daughter were found floating in Sharmishta lake in Vadnagar town on Thursday.
The deceased were identified as Mangu Thakore (30) and her daughter Tanna. She belonged to Sulipur village and was living in Arjanbari locality. The woman had gone missing from her house on Wednesday, said MG Rathod, sub-inspector, Vadnagar police station.
The reason for their death will be known after investigation, he said.
