A few years ago, the idea of a modern day Lamborghini SUV was absolutely unthinkable, but since the Urus has landed, it’s proved very popular and has boosted the marque’s sales to new heights.
From the factory, the Lamborghini Urus is arguably the most striking SUV currently on sale, but tuning shop RDBLA recently outfitted a customer’s Urus with a one-off wrap that will make it stand out wherever it goes.
This particular Urus is owned by rapper Yo Gotti and the wrap is similar to Tiffany Green but has a pearl shade to give it an even brighter finish. A satin protection film has then been applied over the wrap to really make it pop. RDBLA has also finished the brake calipers in yellow and applied the same blue wrap as the exterior along the spokes of the 23-inch wheels.
During this clip, the man in front of the camera reveals the customization shop is also working on a Rolls-Royce Cullinan and Ferrari F8 Tributo for Yo Gotti with the same turquoise wrap.
Following the introduction of the Urus, Lamborghini’s sales jumped 43 per cent in 2019 over the previous year with a total of 8,205 vehicles sold by the Italian brand. The super SUV accounted for 61 per cent of sales, or 4,962 units.
The Urus comes outfitted with a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 churning out 641 hp and 627 lb-ft (850 Nm) of torque. That’s enough to send it to 62 mph (100 km/h) in a mere 3.6 seconds and through to a 190 mph (305 km/h) top speed.
