Police seek help to identify burning body

Police are yet to get any leads to help them identify the body of a man which was found still burning off Mon Plaisir Road, in Cunupia on Sunday.

According to reports, the body was found at a clearing in an area used mostly by farmers. When the body was found the torso was still alight and there were injuries to the man's face.

Police believe the man was killed elsewhere and his body dumped before set on fire. The body was taken to the Forensic Science Centre in St James but an autopsy could not be done until it is identified by relatives.
