Domestic civil aviation operations will resume from May 25: Aviation Minister
in India updates: India has witnessed its biggest daily spike in the total number of cases, with over 6,000 being reported in 24 hours, according to data compiled by Worldometer.

There are 107,789 cases of Covid-19 in the country at present, and as many as 3,316 people have died from the disease. The current recovery rate stands at 39.62 per cent. The Union said that 7.9 people per lakh population got affected by Covid-19 in the country.

After nearly two months of suspension, Union Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri announced on Wednesday that domestic civil aviation operations will resume from May 25.
