Hundreds flocked to the seaside today as the UK enjoyed what is set to be the hottest day of the year so far.
Beaches across England, including at Formby on Merseyside, Brighton, Bournemouth and across Cornwall were inundated with visitors after an easing of lockdown restrictions over the border.
It was a stark contrast to the empty beaches of North Wales where stricter lockdown restrictions still remain in place.

New rules in England allow people to enjoy unlimited exercise, sunbathe, picnic and drive to beauty spots in the country as long as they respect social distancing guidance and return home the same day.
Pictures taken have today shown hundreds of people crowded on beaches to bask in the sun, with the situation at Polzeath described as "carnage", according to Cornwall Live.

However, people in England have been warned against visiting the coastline in other parts of the UK, including Wales, where different lockdown rules apply and the message remains to "stay home".
Three small changes were made to the regulations earlier this month, which include allowing people to exercise more than once a day, garden centres are allowed to re-open and councils are allowed to open recycling centres again.

People in England can now also play sports outdoors with members of their own household and sunbathe in local parks - something which is not allowed in Wales yet.

Those who fail to follow the guidelines could face financial penalties in order to enforce the social distancing rules.
The restrictions in Wales will be in place until at least next week- with the next review set to take place on May 28.
