Choco orange cake can be made with three ingredients and without an oven!
If there's one thing the lockdown period has taught us, it is how to make creative use of ingredients that are already at home. The craving for something sweet often strikes us at odd hours in these times. There are a plethora of such recipes on the internet for indulgent sweet treats to make at home for beginners. One such recipe by a UK-based home chef caught our attention, and it is slowly winning the internet due to its simplicity and the fact that it makes use of easily available ingredients.
Susan Talbot shared the recipe on Facebook group Crockpot/Slow Cooker Recipes & Tips for a delightful chocolate-orange cake made with just three ingredients. Further, the recipe is ideal for beginners who are just trying their hands at baking for the first time. There is barely any equipment needed to make the choco-orange cake at home, as it does not even need an oven! Susan Talbot's recipe makes use of a readymade cake mix, two cans of orange soda and one teaspoon of orange extract.
Readymade cake mixes sold in the market usually require other ingredients such as oil, water and eggs to be mixed with the premix; however, this easy recipe doesn't need any of that. Take a look at the chaco-orange cake recipe that's taken the Internet by storm, and has delicious-looking results too.
