After the announcement of lockdown 4.0, Ola/Uber cab services are set to resume their services and will be following all the newly imposed guidelines by the government. This comes to post the halting of these cab services for a long time due to the imposed restrictions by the government.
Uber is resuming its services and will constantly keep everyone updated via their app. Bagging 10 new cities in its cap, Uber will now be spread to over 35 cities across the country.
This brings relief to all those drivers/partners undertaking and performing the services offered by this country, as now they will be able to earn their livelihood. Ola is now in around 160 cities and will be operational with protocols of safety in mind.
In Dehli, all the cabs and taxis which will be operational will have an upper limit of the maximum of two people in a car.
The safety protocols for Ola are inclusive of compulsory masks, sanitation of the vehicles and the limit of two passengers in each ride. On the other hand, Uber announced that face masks will be a non-negotiable and riders may have to upload a selfie with their masks post the rides. Both companies will allow trips to be cancelled if people feel it is unsafe.
