NTA reopens online application form for JEE Main 2020; apply till May 24

NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency on Tuesday reopened the online application form for the candidates who wish to apply for the Joint Entrance Examiantion 2020.
The NTA, upon receiving a request from the Ministry of Human Resource Development, has opened the website for accepting fresh applications online for JEE 2020.
The IIT-JEE (Main) examination will be held on July 18, 20, 21, 22, and 23 . The JEE Advanced Exam will be conducted on August 23, 2020.
The Union HRD minister Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank said that the portal is reopened for those students who have dropped the idea to study abroad; they can now pursue higher studies in India.
"I have advised @DG_NTA to give one more opportunity to students to submit new/complete online application form for JEE (Main) 2020. Hurry! Forms available till 24th May," HRD minister tweeted.
In view of the representations received from various Indian students who were scheduled to join colleges abroad but are now keen to pursue their studies in the country due to the changed circumstances arising out of Covid-19, and would thus like to appear in the JEE (Main) 2020, the NTA has decided to give one last opportunity. This is also applicable to other students who have not been able to complete the application process or submit online application form for JEE (Main) 2020 due to one reason or another.
In view of the hardships faced by such students due to Covid-19, the National Testing Agency is now giving one more opportunity to them to submit afresh or to complete the online application form JEE (Main) 2020.
The candidates can apply through the official JEE (Main) website - jeemain.nta.nic.in from May 19, 2020 to May 24, 2020.
Candidates should note that the submission/completion of online application form will be accepted up to 05:00 pm and submission of fee up to 11:50 pm. The application fee can be paid online through Credit/ Debit Card/ Net Banking/ UPI and PayTM.
