Under Vande Bharat Mission, five flights carrying Indian nationals are scheduled to arrive in Kerala today. Two flights, each from Kaula Lumpur and Dhamam will be arriving in Kochi today late evening. Two flights are scheduled for arrival in Kannur carrying stranded passengers from Kuwait and Doha.

One more flight from Riyadh will be arriving in Kozhikode airport today evening. A total over 900 expatriates are expected to arrive in Kerala today. Meanwhile, the total active COVID-19 cases rose to 130 in the state.

Strict surveillance is continuing as over 80 per cent of the cases are returnees from abroad and other states. Meanwhile, due to Amphan cyclone, heavy rain continues in major parts of the state . Yellow is issued in nine districts of the state.
