WATCH | Cat named 'Meownuel Neuer' pulls off series of saves in today's must-watch video!

2020-05-19 17:56

Everyone loves a cat story. Especially a cat breaking the internet while playing goalkeeper ...

No?

Part-time footballer and YouTube sensation, Chris Dixon, uploaded a video to his nearly 1 million Twitter followers of his cat pulling off a series of acrobatic saves in 'goal' that would've left the likes of Gianluigi Buffon, David de Gea, Iker Casillas and, um, Peter Sch-meow-chel proud.

The video of the cat - reported to be named 'Meownuel Neuer' after Germany and Bayern Munich shot-stopper Manuel Neuer - had been viewed an incredible six million times at last glance.

Take a look. It's probably the most athletic thing you'll watch this week ... if not the entire Covid-19 lockdown.

The commentary to describe each save is of English Premier League standard. No really, it is.
