But seeing the hits dished out by some of Australia’s toughest AFL players left the Englishman stunned.

He rated Aussie Rules a 9.6 out of 10 on the ‘most dangerous sport in the world’ scale.

‘I don’t understand this sport at all … this looks dangerous as hell. Outrageous scenes. outrageous!’ KSI, whose YouTube handle is JJ Olatunji, said.

After viewing Greater Western Sydney’s Shane Mumford absolutely annihilate Geelong’s Mitch Duncan, leaving him unconscious, KSI screamed and winced.

‘One minute man is playing AFL, the next man is dreaming about AFL. God damn!’ he said.

The 26-year-old has gained legions of fans through his comedy videos.

KSI, which stands for ‘Knowledge, Strength, Integrity,’ first began posting videos in 2008 of himself playing FIFA.

In the following years he branched out into performing sketch comedy skits with a group of other YouTubers called the Sidemen.

Recently, the high-energy presenter has become known for reaction videos, pranks and challenges.

But KSI has even competed in boxing and recorded a rap album, which has seen main Youtube channel grow to 21 million subscribers. His secondary channel JJ Olatunji has over 9million.

Bewildered by some of the hits players can get away with in the unique Australian sport, KSI was left in disbelief after seeing Melbourne’s Jack Viney drop St Kilda’s Maverick Weller in a WWE-style manoeuvre.

‘Man hit him with the f***ing Rock Bottom!’ he said.

KSI even spawned a new nickname for West Coast’s Liam Ryan’s after viewing a clip from the 2018 Grand final, where he hit Collingwood’s Brayden Maynard in a monster tackle under the ribs.

‘Man took his soul,’ he said. ‘Man took his soul away from him! Man gave him the soul-claimer!’

With over nine million subscribers on YouTube, many of his fans had never seen or even heard of AFL before.

But Australian followers were quick to point out ‘these are just legal bumps and tackles’.

‘Basically your average lunchtime (game) in primary school,’ one user wrote.

Another said: ‘Imagine if he reacted to 80s footy.’
