Stock market update: 43 stocks hit 52-week lows on NSE

Domestic benchmark index NSE Nifty was trading 144.40 points up at 8967.65

NEW DELHI: Around 43 stocks fell to touch their 52-week lows on NSE in Tuesday's session.

Among the stocks that touched their 52-week lows were ABB India, Arihant Superstructures, Bank of Baroda, Brigade Enterprises, D.B.Corp, EIH, INOX Leisure, Kajaria Ceramics, Lemon Tree Hotels, PVR, State Bank of India and Union Bank of India.

Domestic benchmark index NSE Nifty was trading 144.40 points up at 8967.65, while the BSE Sensex was trading 494.16 points up at 30523.14.

In the Nifty 50 index, Bharti Airtel, ONGC, Tata Motors, JSW Steel and Adani Ports SEZ were among the top gainers on the NSE.
However, UPL , Vedanta , HUL, Cipla and Asian Paints were among the top losers.
