Gold Coast shopper Cushla Johnstone slammed the supermarket after buying the packet and expecting ten separate patties of beef
'Coles, just wondering … am I meant to carve my own burger patties out of this chunk of 'meat'?' she posted on the supermarket's Facebook page.
'Just a little confused considering I was expecting 10 individual burger patties... not one patty for Fred Flintstone.'
When someone in the comments told Ms Johnstone they didn't like the product she admitted she was not going to be buying them again.
'First time buying them so I learned my lesson,' she wrote.
Ms Johnstone posted pictures showing the meat had moulded into one big chunk.
Coles apologised for the disappointment and said the company was sorry Ms Johnstone was frustrated with her purchase.
