- Around half of Chile's 50-member senate, as well as four ministers, have been placed in quarantine after coming into contact with at least three colleagues infected with the novel coronavirus, official sources said on Monday.
- Finance Minister Ignacio Briones and Chief of Staff Felipe Ward both wrote on Twitter that they had tested negative for the virus but were in quarantine until a second test is conducted.

COVID-19: BMC issues revised protocol for sealing of buildings
- BMC stated that if there is a new COVID-19 case in a society or building, then the entire building need not be sealed and only the particular floor can be sealed.
- "The positive symptomatic patient can be shifted to DCHC or DCH, private or public facility as per the beds available and affordability of the patient. Positive asymptomatic patients can be home quarantined as per Government of India guidelines, if adequate facilities are available in the house and with self-declaration by the patient," BMC stated.

Some airlines start bookings for June travel, say sources
"Domestic airlines have opened bookings for their flights from June onwards," one of the sources said on Monday.According to PTI sources at IndiGo and Vistara said they were taking bookings for domestic flights.There was no official comments from IndiGo, Vistara and GoAir on commencement of bookings.

Donald Trump says he's taking malaria drug to protect against virus
- Trump is taking the drug despite warnings from his own government.
- The drug should only be administered for COVID-19 in a hospital or research setting due to potentially fatal side effects.
- Trump told reporters he has been taking the drug, hydroxychloroquine, and a zinc supplement daily ``for about a week and a half now.''
- He spent weeks pushing the drug as a potential cure or prophylaxis for COVID-19 against the cautionary advice.
- The drug has the potential to cause significant side effects in some patients and has not been shown to combat the new coronavirus.
- Trump said his doctor did not recommend the drug to him, but he requested it from the White House physician.
- ``I started taking it, because I think it's good,`` Trump said. ``I've heard a lot of good stories.''
