This graph shows how coronavirus continues to rise steeply in North Wales compared to other areas of the country.

From just nine recorded cases on March 17, as of today there were 2,123.

While other health board areas have seen higher totals, the rate at which new infections are being recorded is slowing, according to the Public Health Wales data.

A graph constructed by website CoronavirusCymru.Wales shows that the lines plotting the rise in cases in other health board areas starting to shallow.

But the line representing North Wales is becoming steeper.

Today, North Wales recorded the highest number of new cases of anywhere in Wales, with 41 recorded.

The total number of cases in each Welsh health board area as of today stands at:

Betsi Cadwaladr 2,123

Aneurin Beavan 2,388

Cardiff and Vale 2,511

Cwm Taf 2,210

Hywel Da 952

Powys 244

Swansea Bay 1,774

Since the outbreak began, 170 people have now tested positive in  Anglesey, 408 in  Conwy, 414 in  Denbighshire, 384 in  Flintshire, 341 in  Gwynedd  and 406 in  Wrexham.

The total number of deaths in North Wales is 198, but the number doesn't include some deaths within the community.
