JEE Main 2020 Exam is your gateway to your desired engineering college, and you must crack the exam with a good score. Due to the mismatch between the vacancies in top colleges and the number of applicants, the examination is highly competitive in nature. It requires utmost dedication and consistent hard work to ace the exam in the first attempt.

If you are someone who is preparing for JEE Main 2020, read on to check the effective study hacks to crack the exam in the first attempt.

  • A well-structured study plan
A well-structured study plan is the perfect beginning of your successful exam preparation for JEE Main 2020. A strategically compiled preparation study plan will ensure timely completion of the syllabus and will give you apt time for revision. If you follow the study plan diligently, it will also help you balance your self-studies along with classes.

Divide the study plan judiciously covering and allocating appropriate time for all the three subjects along with multiple practise and revision.

  • Previous Year papers and mock tests
The best way to utilise the JEE Main Previous Year Papers is in two ways.

First, the previous year papers give you an insight into the difficulty level of the exam, the question trend and, the weightage of different topics in the syllabus. This practice will help you with the sequence of topic completion and help you learn what to study and what to leave.

Second, towards the end of the exam preparation, solve the previous year papers to analyse the level of your preparation. This will help you realise the gaps in your exam preparation, and you can subsequently make changes and improve your preparation.

Mock Test and Test Series are as important as finishing the syllabus. Only cramming up and understanding the topics will not be beneficial unless you learn to implement them correctly. The JEE Main Examination is designed to test if you understand the syllabus and topic correctly, and for that, you must practise the JEE Main mock test to learn the correct usage of formulas and methods.

  • Notes Making and Revision
The JEE Main Syllabus is vast and exhaustive. You must learn to make your notes and compile them in the manner that it is easier to revise the topic with minimum sources and maximum coverage. Along with formulas and shortcuts compiled in one place, you must also note other important facts about the topic along with it.

In the later stages of the preparation, time management becomes highly crucial. You would want to revise the maximum syllabus in minimum time, and your accumulated notes shall be the best source.

Lastly, along with the study hacks mentioned above, you must learn to prioritise the topics. Identify the weaker areas in the JEE Main syllabus and prioritise them to gain more marks. Eventually, find a balance between your stronger and weaker areas.

Be consistent in your studies and follow the curated study plan diligently, and you will surely get your desired college in no time.

All the best.
