Drive-through Covid-19 testing site opens in Chandigarh

CHANDIGARH: In an effort to protect healthcare workers and promote social distancing, the SRL Diagnostics commenced the first Covid-19 drive-through sample collection site in Chandigarh on Monday. The drive-through site is located in Sector 11, Chandigarh.
Sharing details about the recent initiative, Anindya Chowdhury, regional COO - North and East, said, "With the growing numbers of active Covid-19 cases in the city, a drive-through facility is much needed as it can cater to the patients without having people step out of their cars."
