Deyalsingh on covid19: 'Adapt and adopt'

HEALTH Minister Terrence Deyalsingh on Monday urged the population to "adapt and adopt" as TT enters a new phase of its efforts to prevent the spread of the covid19 pandemic.
At the virtual health news conference, Deyalsingh said he was pleased to have interacted with a very wise pie man at Curepe Junction earlier in the day
He said the pie man was wearing a visor and a mask because he wanted to protect himself and his customers. Deyalsingh also said the pieman told him he was prepared "to take a financial bounce" until the virus is brought under control.
Deyalsingh also urged people not to let other people their cell phones, as this has been shown to be one way the virus can spread.
Stressing that "Mr and Mrs Trinidadian" and "Mr and Mrs Tobagonian" are critical now to prevent the spread of the virus, Deyalsingh said the steps citizens can take to protect themselves and others from covid19 "will not cost you anything."
Reminding people they can make their own masks, Deyalsingh said, "Don't wait for the Government. Don't wait for FEEL to give you a mask."
