Cyclone Amphan: Heavy rainfall expected in parts of coastal Odisha, says IMD Director

Bhubaneswar (Odisha): India Meteorological Department (IMD) Director HR Biswas on May 18 gave information on cyclone Amphan. He said that cyclone Amphan is very likely to intensify into super cyclonic storm in next six hours. “We've issued heavy rainfall warnings for Gajapati, Puri, Ganjam Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara. Tomorrow rainfall activity to increase in Balasore,Bhadrak, Jajapur,Mayurbhanj,Khurja, Cuttack,” said IMD Director HR Biswas.
