In Rajasthan too, the lockdown has been extended till 31 May amid growing infection of the coronavirus. Apart from increasing the lockdown in the state, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has taken a big decision in the interest of migrant workers.


In a review meeting at the Chief Minister's residence on Sunday on the fourth phase of the lockdown, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said that running special buses to relieve the workers and their families of walking hundreds of kilometers of sunlight to return to their homes is extremely painful.

During this, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has also instructed the roadways to keep buses ready for this. He said that after getting the consent from the states, these special buses will be run to bring and carry the Rajasthan government workers free of cost.

In Rajasthan, cases of corona infection are increasing rapidly. On Monday, 140 new positive cases of corona virus have been reported in the state on the first day of the fourth phase of lockdown. With this, the total number of people infected in the state has gone up to 5342.
