No NSW bail for alleged Queensland parent killer
A Queensland man will remain behind bars in NSW for at least another day before potentially being extradited to the Sunshine State over his parents' murder.
Christopher Puglia, 31, appeared on Monday at Sydney's Parramatta Local Court after being charged under a Queensland warrant over the deaths of his parents Frank and Loris, both 59.

Their bodies were found at their home at Joyner, north of Brisbane, on Sunday.
Queensland Police alleges Mr Puglia killed his parents on Saturday.
NSW highway patrol officers, acting on intelligence, stopped and arrested Mr Puglia on the M1 at Berowra in northern Sydney about four hours after the discovery of the bodies.
Magistrate Rodney Brender formally refused the Queenslander bail on Monday.
Mr Puglia will return to court on Tuesday to face extradition, with Queensland detectives expected to travel to Sydney for the hearing.
Mr Puglia's car has been seized and will undergo forensic tests.
Queensland Police did not confirm media reports a sledgehammer may have been used in the crime.
Tributes, meanwhile, have begun to appear on Facebook for Loris, who worked as a telemarketer for Guide Dogs Queensland, and Frank.
"This is just a tragedy. Loris would have done anything for anyone," one person wrote.
"Loris was such a light and helped so many," wrote another.
