Startup SmartQ To Launch Slot Based Booking System To Reduce Congestion In Cafeterias

The top priority for this startup will be the high crowded areas food courts, IT companies, offices among others.

SmartQ, a food tech start-up company, has said that it will launch a ‘slot based booking system’ in June, in order to reduce congestion in cafeterias across various organizations in India, and possibly abroad, that is after the end of the lockdown.  

Notably, the top priority for this startup will be the high crowded areas food courts, IT companies, offices among others. This initiative is called 'smart pass' is focused upon the safety and convenience parameters, by giving consumers the authority and the flexibility of choosing their time slots which are in sync with their schedule.  

Smart Pass is set to hit the markets in June, and conversations are initiated with seven other countries as well which are New Zealand, USA, Germany and a few other European countries.  When it comes to India, “smart pass” will be enabled by several leading MNC’s such as Goldman Sachs, Boeing, Compass Group, Airtel, Siemens, Boeing, Razorpay among others. 

Along with aiding companies, this startup looks at malls, airports, IT food courts and areas like these as an opportunity to grow in the future.
