People from Maharashtra, Gujarat and Tamil Nadu barred from entering Karnataka till May 31

BENGALURU: Karnataka chief minister BS Yediyurappa said that people from Maharashtra, Gujarat and Tamil Nadu will not be allowed to enter the state till May 31.
"The travel of people from these states will be allowed only in exceptional cases," Yediyurappa said.
The decision is triggered by sudden spike in number of people who came from these states to Karnataka post May 3 testing positive.
