Share market update: 42 stocks hit 52-week lows on NSE

NEW DELHI: Around 42 stocks fell to touch their 52-week lows on NSE in Monday's session.

Among the stocks that touched their 52-week lows were Arvind Fashions, Bank of Baroda, Brigade Enterprises, Chalet Hotels, Cholamandalam Financial Holdings, D.B.Corp, GE Power India, INOX Leisure, Kajaria Ceramics Lemon Tree Hotels, Nesco, Punjab National Bank, Prestige Estates Projects, PVR, Rajesh Exports, State Bank of India and Union Bank of India.

Domestic benchmark index NSE Nifty was trading 290.70 points down at 8846.15, while the BSE Sensex was trading 996.36 points down at 30101.37.

In the Nifty 50 index, Cipla, Bharti Infratel, Infosys, ITC and Vedanta were among the top gainers on the NSE.
However, IndusInd Bank, Axis Bank, Zee Ent., ICICI Bank and Maruti Suzuki were among the top losers.
