Bihar STET cancelled; exam to be conducted again, says official
BSEB on Saturday cancelled the STET examination which was conducted on January 28, 2020.

Patna: Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) on Saturday cancelled the State Teachers Eligibility Test (STET) Paper I and Paper II held in January this year at 317 examination centres across Bihar. The decision was taken after the four member committee constituted by the Board submitted its report.
BSEB chairman Anand Kishor said the board would again conduct the STET exam for the candidates. The Board would also take action against the candidates who had created ruckus at five exam centres including Gaya, Gopalganj, Saharsa, Muzaffarpur and Patna. A proposal has been sent to education department for the re-examination. Kishor also confirmed that the students, who walked out from examination centres with question papers, must have circulated the question paper on social media. Around 2.47 lakh candidates appeared for the STET exam on January 28.
