Doda encounter: Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist Tahir Bhat neutralized, informs IGP Jammu

The security forces neutralized terrorist Tahir Ahmad Bhat in an encounter in Jammu and Kashmir's Doda on May 17. Bhat was controlling terror activities in the area after the Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist Haroon. Haroon was killed by security forces in January 2020. "Last night, we got information about presence of terrorist Tahir Ahmad Bhat in Khotra village of Doda. We were on lookout for this terrorist since January 2020 when we killed Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) terrorist Haroon. After Haroon, Bhat was controlling terror activities here," said the Inspector General of Police of Jammu, Mukesh Singh while addressing the press conference.
