Coronavirus in Uttar Pradesh: 1,805 active cases so far; over 6,500 tests done on May 16
Uttar Pradesh Principal Health Secretary Amit Mohan Prasad on May 17 informed the total active COVID-19 cases in the state are 1,805 and the discharged people are 2,444. He added that the state has recorded 104 deaths due to COVID-19. Prasad informed that the total 6,545 samples were tested on May 16 in the state, which is the highest so far. He added that the state is going to increase the testing.
